Strengthening Urban Engagement in Universities in Africa and Asia (SUEUAA) - Harare, 9-10 May, 2019
The University of Zimbabwe in association with the Centre for Research and Development in Adult and Lifelong Learning (CR&DALL) at the University of Glasgow and the PASCAL Observatory at the University of Johannesburg and the University of Glasgow invite you to a conference celebrating the role of universities in developing the infrastructure of cities through strengthening their urban engagement roles. The conference will be held on 9/10 May 2019 at the Cresta Lodge Hotel, Harare.
The focus of the conference is the work of Strengthening Urban Engagement in Universities in Africa and Asia (SUEUAA), a research project funded by The British Academy as part of its contribution to the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF), and co-ordinated by the University of Glasgow. It involves academics from six cities across Asia and Africa (Manila, Philippines; Kurdistan, Iran; Duhok, Iraq; Dar es Salaam, Tanzania; Johannesburg, South Africa; and Harare, Zimbabwe).
