University-Community Engagement Conference 2015 (UCEC2015)

Navitas and the Asia-Pacific University-Community Engagement Network (APUCEN) are organising the University-Community Engagement Conference on the Gold Coast in Australia from 1st-3rd November 2015 (UCEC2015).

A preliminary announcement by Navitas Group CEO Me Rod Jones states that

Universities play a key role in creating mutually beneficial relationships with communities to address community issues and needs. At UCEC2015, we aim to foster an environment for scholars, policy makers and practitioners to examine and share cutting-edge models and international best practices that advance university-community engagement.

The theme of UCEC2015 is, “Enhancement and Innovations in University-Community Engagement”, and Abstracts will be encouraged aligned to this theme.

UCEC is a conference promoted by APUCEN and co-hosted by its members, which include institutions throughout South East Asia, Australia and Europe. Attendance as a delegate or presenter will provide an excellent opportunity to network with experts involved in community engagement internationally. This biennial Conference is the first UCEC to be held in Australia, co-hosted by the Australian College of Applied Psychology, a Navitas College, and Universiti Sains Malaysia

Abstract submissions will be accepted until 24th April 2015 and early bird rates are currently available for registrations prior to 1st July 2015. More information on UCEC2015 can be found on the conference website http://ucec2015.com or by contacting the UCEC2015 Secretariat via [email protected].
