SOLIDARITY YOUTH

Award to solidarity educational practices developed among universities

The First Conference of University Extension 2016, "University Extension in the XXI Century. Transforming those paradigms “took place in the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Buenos Aires. The Health focus won the first mention on the poster "One World One Health" that developed Service-Learning in vulnerable areas of Villa Soldati with health risk.
This experience is the result of the work done by teachers, graduates and student volunteers from different university courses: Veterinary Science, Psychology, Social Communication, Graphic and Clothing Design, Dentistry, Gardening. They develop this university practice with the Luis Pasteur Institute of Zoonosis, the Margarita Barrientos Foundation and different organizations and nonprofit foundations.
