UALL Bursary Fund 2018/2019

Over the summer, it was agreed by the Executive Committee that a bursary fund, £1000 limited, be made available for the current year and there is a maximum funding of £250.00 to any individual member.

PASCAL Network Conference - Global Learning Cities: Empowering citizens and transforming communities

On Wednesday, November 7th, 2018 over fifty people gathered at Teacher’s College, Columbia University and City Seminary New York to discuss the links between learning cities and transformation. More than 50 people from all around the world - including USA, Canada , Australia, Thailand, Japan, France, Italy, Denmark, Ireland and the UK - gathered together to share their research, practice, and perspectives on “empowering citizens and transforming communities.”

An American Encore Adult’s Reflections on Knowledge shared at the Global Learning Cities Pre-Conference 2018

I am an American Encore Adult focused on development and enhancement of life long learning. I found the recent PASCAL International Transformative Learning Global Learning Cities Pre-Conference at Columbia Teachers College and City Seminary in New York to be a rich experience of learning and sharing.
