SDSN Proposes 10 Sustainable Development Goals

The UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) has issued its report to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. 'The Action Agenda for Sustainable Development' argues that a sustainable development path must be based on four related normative concepts: the right to development for every country; human rights and social inclusion; convergence of living standards across countries; and shared responsibilities and opportunities.

On Wednesday, June 5th, 2013, the World Committee for Lifelong Learning (CMA) was received by Irina Bokova, Chief Executive Officer of UNESCO.

PASCAL Co-Director Professor Michael Osborne was interviewed in Korea following an address to the the Lifelong Learning Planet Forum hosted by the Gyeonggi Do Provincial Institute for Lifelong Learning (GILL) and the National Institute for Lifelong Education on the topic of UNESCO's International Platform for Learning Cities.
