New book published on the post 2015 education and development processes

It is less than a year from now when the Sustainable Development Goals will replace the MDGs. And in May 2015 in Korea the World Education Forum will decide on an EFA follow-up. Important meetings and documents have appeared especially since 2012.

We are seeking input and comments on the framework for our Gold Standard Sustainable Cities Programme, through which cities can develop, audit and verify urban programmes in order to catalyse and scale up currently missing investment.

New book: "Earth System Governance: World Politics in the Anthropocene" (MIT Press, 2014)

Humans are no longer spectators who need to adapt to their natural environment. Our impact on the earth has caused changes that are outside the range of natural variability and are comparable to major geological processes such as ice ages. Some scientists argue that we have entered a new epoch in planetary history: the Anthropocene. In such an era of planet-wide transformation, we need a new model for planet-wide environmental politics.
