PASCAL participation in the Membership Jury for the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities (GNLC)

Following the Introductory Meeting of the Membership Jury for the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities, we are pleased to announce that PASCAL Board member and convenor of PASCAL’s, Connecting Urban and Rural Learning Initiatives, Learning City Network, Dr Leone Wheeler has been elected as chairperson of the jury.

Finnish Professor of the Year 2022 - PASCAL Associate, Professor Jari Stenvall

We are delighted to report that The Finnish Union of University Professors has chosen our friend and colleague professor Jari Stenvall, who is a professor of administrative science at Tampere University and a PASCAL Associate, as the Professor of the Year 2022. The nomination was announced at the Union’s Communicatio Academica event on Thursday, January 13, 2022, in Turku. The award amount of the Professor of the Year is €20,000.

This project incorporates many partners from across various sectors across the world in a project support hope and unity during these times of uncertainty. The reflections, outcomes and stories contained in the report give great insight into the meaningful work that many have collaborated on through this project, and well as supports groups wishing to run their own local learning festivals.
