New Times, New Voices - XV WCCES Congress - Buenos Aires, June 24-28 2013
A special note for this event: the call for papers is alrady out, please see the Congress website.
You are warmly invited to participate in the XV Comparative Education World Congress, which will take place on 24-28 June, 2013, in Buenos Aires City, Argentina.
Under the theme ‘New Times, New Voices.Comparative Perspectives for Education’, our aim is to raise awareness about new forms of academic expression that stem from far-reaching changes at global/regional level and to frame current education systems and education in comparative perspective.
At the XV World Congress, outstanding guest speakers from every continent will present their research papers along with scholars, researchers, lecturers, teachers and actors of the education system. Papers will be submitted both individually and through forty Comparative and International Education Societies.
We wish to highlight that the World Congress will be held at the new building for the School of Economics, part of bicentenary UBA Universidad de Buenos Aires. This venue is strategically located, integrating us within the urban college environment and thriving, late evening cultural life in Buenos Aires, which you may enjoy. As regards sightseeing, there are plans to offer-pre-and post Congress – a visitors’ program to take in Argentina’s landscapes and cultural heritage.
Our country, Buenos Aires City, SAECE-Argentinean Society of Comparative Studies in Education, the academic community and the National Ministry of Education have taken great pride in their commitment to host the XV WCCES World Congress. We hope you can join this landmark event.
Looking forward to seeing you in June 2013 at the Word Congress, and conveying warmest regards,
Norberto Fernández Lamarra
President, SAECE / Vicepresident, WCCES
