UNECE Launches Green Economy Seminar Series With Discussion of Green Homes

UNECEThe UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) discussed residential energy efficiency at the first seminar in a series launched to promote actions towards a regional green economy. The Green Economy seminars will provide a forum for discussing the integration of social and environmental considerations in the lead-up to the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD or Rio+20).

UNITAR/UN CC:Learn Joins Working Group on Greening Technical and Vocational Education

The UN Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR)/UN CC:Learn has joined the working group on “Greening TVET and Skills Development” of the Inter-agency Group on Technical and Vocational Education and Training (IAG-TVET).

The working group was established in recognition of the need to coordinate action and enhance knowledge exchange among UN agencies, to advance learning for green jobs.
