Promoting Community Engagement for Vocational and Professional Education and Training - Hong Kong, 15 March 2018

This symposium on 15 March 2018 at the Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) discussed findings of two research studies. One was benchmarking research conducted in Hong Kong and European cities and the second, a General Research Fund (GRF) study[1] concerned the importance of partnerships and community engagement for Vocational and Professional Education and Training (VPET).

We were very pleased to be able to offer a PASCAL Workshop at the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Chai Wan) (a member of Vocational Training Council (VTC)) to some 40 staff members on Promoting Community Engagement for Vocational and Professional Education and Training (VPET) on 13 March 2018.

We are pleased to announce that the UNESCO-UNEVOC Centre (Hong Kong) in collaboration with the  PASCAL Observatory will be holding an international symposium on 15 March 2018 from 0915-1315 at The Education University of Hong Kong (Block A - University Council Chamber). This Symposium will discuss findings of the benchmarking research conducted in Hong Kong and several European cities, and importance of community engagement for Vocational and Professional Education and Training (VPET).
