Vinnova (Swedish Innovation and Growth Agency) program

The Swedish Cluster organization Future Position X is, together with the Swedish Transport Administration, launching a pre-study about future road traffic management.

EU Funding opportunities and partner searches - Calls for Proposals

A new Call for Proposals has been issued under the FP7 Ideas Specific Programme for ERC Advanced Investigator Grants.

The budget for this Call €679.98 million (for all domains).

The call consists of three sub-calls:

  • Life Sciences
  • Social Sciences & Humanities

Second Global Dialogue Communique - How Should Universities respond to global pressures for social and economic change?

A new communiqué setting out a range of measures to sustain university engagement with communities has been published following the most recent meeting of the ‘Big Tent’ group of community university engagement networks hosted recently at the University of Glasgow by PASCAL International Observatory.

The Talloires Network E-Newsletter - November 2011

The Talloires Network is one of the partners with whom PASCAL collaborates, and which is a co-signatory to the September 23 2010 Communique "Enhancing North-South Cooperation in Community-University Engagement".

Presentations of the EUROlocal Conference

The final conference of the EUROlocal project was held on 26-28 October and was opened in the city of Murten, Switzerland, by the mayor of the city, Christian Brechbühl.  There followed a series of excellent presentations and workshop events for some 50+ participants from 15 countries in Europe.
