Webinars on Work Based Learning

A series of 3 hour-long webinars will take place in December on the subject of work based learning and the experiences of the E-ViEW project team who have been developing and piloting a European Virtual Campus aimed at learners who want to enhance their management skills and competences within a European context. Each webinar lasts from 16:30 to 17:30 CET and they will take place on 5 December, 12 December and 19 December.

On-Line Debate #1: Validation of Non-formal and Informal Learning (VNIL)

I am pleased to inform you that the OBSERVAL-Net project has launched today an on-line Debate on VNIL issues. We are experiencing a new activity on-line and would like to encourage you to joining us. The debate has a moderator (Ruud Duvekot) and a defender and an opponent to the given motion. You are welcome to comment the statements and also vote for or against the motion.

Campus Compact Identifies Emergence of "Engaged Learning Economies" at U.S. Colleges & Universities

“Boston, MA – A report by Campus Compact defines a new concept in civic engagement on college campuses called Engaged Learning Economies. Initiatives at US colleges and universities, which utilize common strategies to merge civic engagement with economic development through strategic partnerships, create Engaged Learning Economies, according to the report.
